German Heller is a Buenos Aires-born technology entrepreneur, producer, and director known for spearheading immersive storytelling and digital innovation.
After teaching himself to code and a stint as a software engineer at IBM, he co-founded 3DAR in 2004 at age 23, aiming to marry visual arts with cutting-edge technology. Under his leadership as CEO, 3DAR has grown into one of Latin America's most innovative companies, earning recognition from Fast Company as #47 worldwide and #2 in the region.
Over nearly two decades, Heller has led 3DAR to international acclaim. His projects include the Emmy-nominated VR film Paper Birds starring Edward Norton, the award-winning series Gloomy Eyes narrated by Colin Farrell, and the Venice Prize-winning mixed reality game Eggscape. His work spans collaborations with Hollywood talent, global artists like Bad Bunny, and leading tech platforms.
Beyond creating award-winning experiences, Heller serves on international juries including Venice Immersive 2023, and advocates for immersive media as a new storytelling frontier.
